I’ve been fascinated by Shoefiti long before I knew it had a name or was a sport. Here’s what I learned on Wiki:
“Shoe tossing (or shoe flinging), the act of using shoes as improvised projectiles or weapons, is a constituent of a number of folk sports and practices. Today, it is commonly the act of throwing a pair of shoes onto telephone wires, powerlines, or other raised wires. A related practice is shoe tossing onto trees or fences. I was just going through my archives and found this draft of an announcement I was preparing a little over a year ago. The private office of the Dynamic Duo (aka known as SeattleResults.com) is two
floors above the awning...last section of windows on the left! (Look hard and
you might see our Christmas Cactus in the window.) We have a spectacular view of South Lake Union and the Space Needle. Oh! And here's the best part, our clients can come to our office, grab a latte at Starbucks (located on Level 2) then after we finish our business, take the elevator back down to Level 1 or Level 2 for lunch, dinner, drinks or Happy Hour at McCormick & Schmick's Harborside! That bar has seen many happy clients. :)
